The House of Compassion

The Church of England House of Compassion is reportedly haunted by a presence that has been felt, seen and allegedly photographed in 1925 (according to Matthews) or in 1962 (according to Coxe).

The apparition is said to be a woman dressed in a “flowing white gown”.
